Defect Site Comment
Ventricular septal defect Data for these conditions include cases with congestive heart failure, confirmation by catheterization or surgery, or, beginning in 2018, confirmed by echocardiogram when the case was six weeks of age and the case had a minimum gestational age of 37 weeks.
Universal comment This submission covers all 10 counties in CBDMP's catchment area. Therefore, case counts and live birth counts are higher compared to prior submissions. Furthermore, denominator files were adjusted slightly. Therefore, prevalence from prior submissions may differ from this submission.
